Tonight in the kitchen we have a charred wagyu rib cap from @tonystendermeats served on toasted sourdough with baby potatoes, pumpkin, beans and a red wine jus and a little chimmichuri thanks to @smokeyjoesrubs to add some zing. Channeling a chateaubriand, simon style.

Sunday morning breakfast at @3.8_baysie
Great way to start the day, amazing coffee and new menu treats.
Today i had Bacon Dashi with a gooey soft egg, rich and warming with tender corned brisket.
Helen had the Small Fish fritter with a tangy housemade kimchi.
Both full of flavour.

Nothing like a Sri Lankan goat curry on a chilly evening. Thanks to Grant at @tonystendermeats for the tender goat pIeces, slow cooked using our home made Sri Lankan curry powder and topped with a coriander & coconut raita, chilli and fresh coriander. So tasty.

Last night we dined at @fallow_perth to mark the start of Helen’s birthday week, after all why have just a day.

We started with some fresh Albany Rock Oysters, alongside a very zesty snapper ceviche. A great way to start our dining experience.
For mains Helen selected a beautifully prepared piece of Toothfish with a citrus jus. I opted for a 350gm Wagyu Rump Cap, medium rare of course, served with Fallow Fries.
Desert was a decadent skillet sticky date pudding with extra sauce. Sadly no photo of this as we couldn`t resist its gooey appeal.
Highly recommend a visit to Fallow, a welcoming space with great service and a great background soundtrack
