I suppose we should explain who Peace Truck is and how he came to be travelling with us…
You’ve no doubt heard of travel buddies before, well the short answer is that PT is a travel buddy. At school each year we have a new staff dinner to welcome new staff, each year has a theme of some sort. This years theme was ‘on safari’. On the table we had luggage tags as place cards, mine is actually on my case. There were also toy trucks and things on the table, Rachael, my new staff member, suggested I take the truck from our table on holiday with us to Africa. That’s how PT came to be with Helen and I. The plan now is to get photos of him in all sorts of exotic places and then put a little slide show together to show the students back at school, oh and the staff as well.
