Is it strange to start packing a week before you leave??
Just asking the question as Helen and I have woken today and decided to look at what we are taking away with us. The bed is being layered with possible clothing and suitcases are being packed, repacked and reorganised……
Is it the 20kg weight limit in internal flights that is driving us to be so careful? Neither of us can remember packing with such thought, normally you just throw stuff at the case until it’s full. This time we thinking about each item and the need to take it.
Just weighed my case and with all the clothing I think I need it’s just under 8Kg, what the hell, last time we went away I had an ‘overweight, take care sticker’ on my bag!!! Mind you There’s no camera gear in there yet, although that is going in hand luggage, don’t want another broken lens! Still I am wandering now, what have I forgotten!
