Well after 8 amazing days our time at Widhya Asih has come to an end and it was time to say Farewell for Now.
Each night the students hold a bible study session before dinner, we’ve joined with them on most evenings. We may not be fully conversant in Indonesian but we still feel the emotion in their words and songs. Below are snippets of songs from our final evening.
After the singing some of the girls had prepared some traditional dances for us, they are just so graceful.
After the singing and dancing it was our turn to be involved, as you can see below some people should just stay sitting down…
On the final morning we rose early and joined the students for our last breakfast. We served breakfast up for the students, then Aline and I packed the lunches for those that needed them.
There were many tears from all around and many hugs. This has been a truly memorable experience and something I will cherish for years to come.
